Ges\u00f9 non fece solo una dichiarazione, bens\u00ec <em>esclam\u00f2<\/em>. Aspett\u00f2 fino all&#8217;ultimo giorno della festa per alzarsi in piedi e fare il Suo annuncio: \u201cEsclam\u00f2: \u00abSe qualcuno ha sete, venga a me e beva. Chi crede in me, come ha detto la Scrittura, fiumi d&#8217;acqua viva sgorgheranno dal suo seno\u00bb\u201d (7:37-38).<\/p>\n<p>Questa fu pi\u00f9 che una semplice dichiarazione teologica; fu un vero e proprio atto di compassione. La religione oramai morta aveva demoralizzato il popolo di Dio. Essa avrebbe dovuto portar loro ristoro, e invece li lascio quasi senza vita. Ma ora Ges\u00f9 annunci\u00f2: \u201cIo sono la vostra coppa d&#8217;acqua fresca, una fonte rinfrescante che non si ferma mai. Puoi bere da me per trovare continuamente una vita rinnovata\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>No c&#8217;\u00e8 bisogno di particolari qualifiche per bere da questa meravigliosa sorgente. Cristo ci assicura: \u201cSe qualcuno ha sete, venga a me e beva. Chi crede in me, come ha detto la Scrittura, fiumi d&#8217;acqua viva sgorgheranno dal suo seno!\u201d (7:38).<\/p>\n<p>Quando Ges\u00f9 dice che: \u201cFiumi d&#8217;acqua viva sgorgheranno dal suo seno\u201d ci sta permettendo di vedere com&#8217;\u00e8 che saranno le nostre vite con un semplice Suo tocco. Si tratta di un tocco che ravviva come nessun altro pu\u00f2 fare, un tocco che \u00e8 in grado di rinnovare con potenza dal cielo l&#8217;anima pi\u00f9 arida, disperata e triste.
