Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161 odpov\u011bd\u011bl na prosbu u\u010dedn\u00edk\u016f o v\u00edru takto: \u201e\u0158ekne snad n\u011bkdo sv\u00e9mu slu\u017eebn\u00edku, kter\u00fd se vr\u00e1til z pole, kde oral nebo p\u00e1sl: \u201aPoj\u010f si hned sednout ke stolu\u2018? Kristus zde mluv\u00ed o n\u00e1s, sv\u00fdch slu\u017eebn\u00edc\u00edch, a o Bohu, na\u0161em P\u00e1nu. \u0158\u00edk\u00e1 n\u00e1m, \u017ee m\u00e1me nasytit Boha. Asi se div\u00ed\u0161: \u201eJak\u00fd pokrm m\u00e1me p\u0159in\u00e9st Hospodinu? Co uspokoj\u00ed jeho hlad? Jak to m\u00e1m ud\u011blat?\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

Bible n\u00e1m \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: \u201eBez v\u00edry v\u0161ak nen\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e9 l\u00edbit se Bohu.\u201c (\u017did\u016fm 11,6) Jednodu\u0161e \u0159e\u010deno, Bo\u017e\u00edm nejlahodn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm pokrmem je v\u00edra. To je j\u00eddlo, kter\u00e9 se mu l\u00edb\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vid\u00edme to zn\u00e1zorn\u011bn\u00e9 v cel\u00e9m P\u00edsmu. Kdy\u017e setn\u00edk po\u017e\u00e1dal Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161e, aby uzdravil jeho nemocn\u00e9ho slu\u017eebn\u00edka pouh\u00fdm vy\u0159\u010den\u00edm slova, Kristus byl pot\u011b\u0161en v\u00edrou toho mu\u017ee. Odpov\u011bd\u011bl: \u201eAmen, prav\u00edm v\u00e1m, tak velikou v\u00edru jsem v Izraeli nenalezl u nikoho.\u201c (Matou\u0161 8,10)<\/span><\/p>\n

Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161 t\u00edm \u0159\u00edkal: \u201eHle, pohan, cizinec, nasytil m\u00e9ho ducha. Jak v\u00fd\u017eivn\u00fdm j\u00eddlem je pro mne v\u00edra tohoto mu\u017ee.\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

Kdy\u017e se \u017eena s krv\u00e1cen\u00edm (viz Luk\u00e1\u0161 8,43-48) protla\u010dila davem a s v\u00edrou se dotkla Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ova od\u011bvu, Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161 okam\u017eit\u011b v\u011bd\u011bl o jej\u00ed v\u00ed\u0159e, a ona byla uzdravena. Jej\u00ed v\u00edra ho pot\u011b\u0161ila.<\/span><\/p>\n

V Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161ov\u00fdch slovech v Luk\u00e1\u0161ovi 17,8 si v\u0161\u00edm\u00e1m stroh\u00e9ho prohl\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed: \u201eP\u0159iprav mi n\u011bco k j\u00eddlu a p\u0159istroj se k obsluze, dokud se nenaj\u00edm a nenapiji; pak bude\u0161 j\u00edst a p\u00edt ty.\u201c V podstat\u011b \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: \u201eTy nebude\u0161 j\u00edst prvn\u00ed, ale j\u00e1.\u201c Jin\u00fdmi slovy, nem\u00e1me pou\u017e\u00edvat v\u00edru na sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed z\u00e1jmy a pot\u0159eby.
