P\u0159ed mnoha lety jsem se vy\u010derpal proch\u00e1zen\u00edm ulic New Yorku, byl jsem unaven\u00fd na du\u0161i i na t\u011ble. Dostal jsem mononukle\u00f3zu, skon\u010dil na \u0161est t\u00fddn\u016f v nemocnici a v krku se mi vytvo\u0159il v\u00fdr\u016fstek. Nemohl jsem polykat, a n\u011bkdy jsem ani nemohl popadnout dech. Moje v\u00e1ha brzy klesla pod 52 kg. Proto\u017ee jsem nemohl cestovat, ve\u0161ker\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edjmy pro slu\u017ebu rychle vyschly a vypadalo to na konec Teen Challenge.<\/p>\n

Vzpom\u00edn\u00e1m si na noc, kdy jsem zoufale volal: \u201ePane, vzd\u00e1v\u00e1m se! Teen Challenge je tvoje. Prost\u011b ti budu d\u016fv\u011b\u0159ovat. Jestli chce\u0161, aby se zav\u0159ely dve\u0159e slu\u017eby, nech\u00e1v\u00e1m to na tob\u011b, ale pros\u00edm t\u011b, odstra\u0148 tu v\u011bc z m\u00e9ho hrdla.\u201c B\u011bhem hodiny jsem vyka\u0161lal masit\u00fd v\u00fdr\u016fstek velikosti velk\u00e9ho vla\u0161sk\u00e9ho o\u0159echu.<\/p>\n

O den nebo dva pozd\u011bji jsem opustil nemocnici a brzy se mi vr\u00e1tily s\u00edly. Zjistil jsem, \u017ee zat\u00edmco jsem byl pry\u010d, Teen Challenge p\u0159e\u017eila! Nev\u00edm, jak to P\u00e1n ud\u011blal, ale zat\u00edmco jsem byl nemocn\u00fd, zam\u011bstnanci za\u010dali d\u016fv\u011b\u0159ovat P\u00e1nu, m\u00edsto aby byli z\u00e1visl\u00ed na mn\u011b. Toho se B\u016fh sna\u017eil dos\u00e1hnout.<\/p>\n

Milovan\u00ed, va\u0161e pot\u00ed\u017ee nejsou nep\u0159edv\u00eddateln\u00e9 n\u00e1hody. Bez ohledu na to, \u010d\u00edm proch\u00e1z\u00edte nebo jak hluboce jste zran\u011bni, B\u016fh je p\u0159esn\u011b na prav\u00e9m m\u00edst\u011b a v\u010das.<\/p>\n

Mo\u017en\u00e1 si mysl\u00edte, \u017ee do va\u0161eho \u017eivota vstoupil \u010f\u00e1bel a p\u0159eru\u0161il Bo\u017e\u00ed pl\u00e1n, ale tak tomu nen\u00ed. Nez\u00e1le\u017e\u00ed na tom, jestli jste ud\u011blali n\u011bco hloup\u00e9ho nebo neopatrn\u00e9ho. Pokud jste \u010dinili pok\u00e1n\u00ed, P\u00e1n m\u016f\u017ee v\u0161e, co bylo zl\u00e9, vyu\u017e\u00edt a obr\u00e1tit to na dobr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Nebu\u010fte zam\u011b\u0159eni na minul\u00e9 chyby. B\u016fh sl\u00edbil, \u017ee v\u00e1m vr\u00e1t\u00ed v\u0161echna l\u00e9ta, kter\u00e1 se\u017eraly kobylky (viz J\u00f3el 2,25). Povzbu\u010fte se t\u011bmi slovy a nechte je, aby se stala va\u0161\u00edm \u017eivotem a nad\u011bj\u00ed: \u201eM\u016fj B\u016fh m\u016f\u017ee ud\u011blat cokoli. On na m\u011b nezapomn\u011bl. Nikdo nem\u016f\u017ee zm\u011bnit jeho pl\u00e1ny.
