Biography
A Pastor's Heart for the Orphan and the Widow
Gary Wilkerson is an author, speaker, and the president of World Challenge Inc., the international ministry founded by his father, David Wilkerson. With a deep compassion for the vulnerable, he leads World Challenge in bringing Christ-centered care to orphans and widows in some of the world’s most impoverished, war-torn, persecuted, and unreached regions.
Throughout 50 years of ministry, Gary has traveled extensively, planted churches, served among people living in extreme poverty, and spoken at evangelistic and church leadership conferences in 70 countries. Today, he passionately advocates World Challenge’s vision to see every orphan and widow in crisis experience the love and care of Jesus Christ.
Gary and his wife, Kelly, live in Colorado Springs, where they enjoy spending time with their four children and twelve grandchildren.
